What Kind Of Supplemental Health Insurance Should I Get For My Trip To Argentina Next Month?

I am a student with a very basic health insurance plan that doesn't cover me while abroad. I will be spending time in Argentina next month and am looking to purchase some sort of health insurance that will cover any relatively serious health problems (i.e. hospitalization required) incurred during my trip. Any suggestions for me?

Supplemental Health Insurance Provider?

Does anybody have supplemental health insurance? Do you know of a good provider? I have never heard of it, my Mom was telling me about it. I looked and I found some places that said quotes for supplemental health insurance. but when I filled out the info it seemed like it gave me a quote for regular health insurance plan not supplemental health insurance. My health insurance I have through work has a high deductible so i am always paying out of pocket for I have not met my deductible.

Health Insurance For Retirees? We Currently Live In Hawaii And Want To Retire On The Mainland, But...?

is it possible to get health insurance on the mainland as we would have to cancel our current carrier who only writes in Hawaii. For those who reside in Hawaii there is a HMSA 65C plus plan for those individuals who had a HMSA health insurance plan while working, but once they retire they can switch to their 65C Plus Plan. It's like a supplemental insurance to go along with your Part A and B. But you only get that if you have had insurance with them prior to retirement and then you transfer it

Answer: What state are you considering moving to? Because insurance is state specific, the only resources I can offer are pretty general. Check with AARP. They have decent gap plans all over the country. You can also check www.medicare.gov for a list of Medi-gap plans in your area.

If I Purchase The Aetna Supplemental Health Insurance, Will They Still Charge Me For The Medical Plan ?

It is mandatory that I purchase ANOTHER health insurance for my college. *(Since they don't accept mine). I'm trying to find the cheapest one. If I purchase that one, will the one that automatically billed me for be waivered?

Answer: Some colleges STILL require you to purchase their clinic coverage plan.

So, you'll have to check with the requirements of YOUR college.

I am looking for a health plan specifically for Truck Drivers. Does such a thing exist?

Answer: YES and it is JUST what you need and none of the 'fluff' you don't need! It's called the Truckers Occupational Accident Insurance Program by AIG.
Pays for Accidental Death, Disability, accident medical expenses, paralysis, even hemorrhoid and hernia coverage! (Hey, when you sit all day and night, stuff happens!)
It is a GREAT plan and very cheap.
Call 800-647-4589 and ask to speak to an agent.
No long haul/short haul nonsense. This is a plan specifically for truckers.
