see, my husband is self employed and i am a stay at home mom. so we don't have any medical insurance. i'm TTC, but it's getting costly. especially since i moved to a different state, i've only found one fertility clinic, and it cost a lot. before i moved, it didn't cost too much, but now, it is thousands more. i moved to Neveda, and i've contacted their department of health, they don't offer any sort of medical assistance. can anyone help me? thanks a lot.
Answer: No. See, the only people who want to BUY infertility coverage, are the people who want to put in claims, so there's no "sharing of cost".
Kinda like elephant training insurance. Would you buy it, if you don't train elephants? Of course not!
Voluntary procedures like cosmetic surgery and infertility treatments are almost ALWAYS self funded, unless your employer's policy offers any coverage. |

i would like to transport patients to and fro' medical appts and get paid thru medical insurance companies.
| Answer: Sorry, but insurance doesn't pay for transportation in most cases except for emergency ambulance rides or transporting a patient from one hospital to another if the first hospital is unable to treat the patient. |

Answer: Not sure of any company that will pay for infertility surgery. But here's the trick if you already have insurance, the surgery needs to be for a medical issue.. scar tissue, endometreosis, bad or irregular periods. Th insurance company will pay for that treatment but not for treatment of infertility. So get some type of insurance or other wise its out of pocket.
I have bluecross/shield and they paid 90% of cost for my surgery and I had the works done. LOL.(10,00- 20,000) . I would check out the priceof their insurance out of pocket for YOU and then try the trick above. |

I went to the emergency room for symptoms suggesting a life-threatening illness. It turned out I did not have a life-threatening illness and the ER doctor diagnosed something much less severe. However, now my health insurance company is refusing to pay for the emergency room fee based on that diagnosis.

You can write a letter of appeal to your insurance company, include a statement of medical necessity from your doctor. Many insurances will not pay for any medical device like hearing aides, inversion tables etc. You letter will need to address the experimental aspect of the inversion table. If you do not know, call your insurance and ask. Don’t just write a letter asking them to pay for table. Also read over your insurance policy. It sounds like your plan won’t cover the table because its experimental. First you need a perscription from your doctor for them to even consider it. If they do not you can declare it on your income taxes when you have them done....
