Survey, Opinions, And Preferences Purchasing Insurance

If given the opportunity, would you purchase insurance ( Life/Health, etc..) on line or would prefer face to face interaction with the agent/broker fulfilling your quotes and contract for you? WHAT'S YOUR PREFERENCE?

Answer: For life insurance, face to face is better for me. I have too much industry knowledge and experience, so if I went to purchase a life policy today, it would be something much more complicated than an online term or whole life policy, which is mostly what you get online. I would be looking for something more complex, like a VUL, and would want to talk in depth about investment options and fund allocations.

Even if I were not purchasing something other than term or whole life, I would still use an agent. It's just good practice.

I am young and healthy, and (God willing) will probably not die until much further down the line. However, I have had a severe phobia of death since I was a child, and it has gotten worse in the past few years. I have full blown panic attacks just thinking about dying and being dead.

I have spent some time trying to be logical about my fear, and realized that a lot of it comes from feeling like I have absolutely no control over my own death. I have recently come up with some plans

I Am 18 And Cant Get Insured For Less Than £4000?

I am looking at gettin insured on my first car. I have been for ages but i just cant get a quote lower than £4000. I seriously need a car. I am on minimum wage and desprately need a new job, and want to go back to college. it jsut isnt possible without a car. i have one lined up but insurance is just astronomical and unaffordable. Anyone have any ideas? I finally can turn my life around but insurance is the only thing stopping me

Answer: Even shopping around on price comparison websites you're not going to get insurance in your own name for much less than £4,000. It would be about £3,000 cheaper if you could drive as a named driver on your parents car if that's possible. The cheapest way is to get a motorbike or moped, the tax, insurance and just as important, fuel is so so much cheaper. It's not just the insurance cost you have to think about with cars, it's all the other costs, MOT, tyres, brakes, batteries, exhausts and servicing. Had my car serviced, MOT'd and one new tyre last month and that cost £260, and that's cheap. A friend of mine had his MOT'd last week and the bill was close to £1000 as it needed some welding

But before doing any of that I wanted to know how much in average would cost the insurance.
I live in London and I will use the bike to commute to Central London everyday.
I tried some quotes on-line but they ask lots of question that I don't have the answer yet...
Does anyone here have a 125cc and lives in London??? How much is the insurance???
