Looking For Auto And Home Insurance Recommendation In Castle Rock, Colorado?

We will moving from Wisconsin to Castle Rock, CO in January, 2007. We are building a new home there. We would appreciate any auto and home insurance company recommendations & comments in that area for the best coverage & service at the lowest cost.

Answer: There are so many good home and auto insurers that to single any one out is a disservice to all of them.

If you currently have auto and homeowner's insurance in Wisconsin and you are happy with the company(s), then just ask your current agent for an agent recommendation for your new location.

Be prepared. Wisconsin is among the lowest priced states in the nation for auto insurance (Colorado used to be among the highest until it dropped No-Fault insurance a few years ago...not it is middle of the pack). What Is The Best Insurance Company To Get Auto And Home Through In Ohio?

I want to get them both through the same company because they give you discounts rates. The insurance will be for two cars and include my wife on the account. Is there an easy place to compare rates?

Answer: We had Allstate for several years and when we purchased our new home and car, we decided to compare rates. Allstate was the highest. Nationwide was okay, but they required a membership to the Farm Bureau to get their rates??!!?? We went with State Farm. We got more coverage for less money than any other place we compared.

Looking At Changing Auto/home Insurance Companies?

I've had Allstate for more than 5 years for home and auto. The rates have continually gone up. I just contacted Liberty Mutual. They can save me over $500 per year with the same or better coverage. Any opinions, thoughts or advice?

Answer: I think the pricing is important, but having an agent you trust and is readily available is JUST as important. So, would I change for $500, to Liberty Mutual? IF I liked the agent, AND there wasn't a coverage reduction, yes.

I wouldn't give up coverage or loss free discounts for it, though.

My personal preference is an Independent Agent, though, not a captive - you're going from one captive to another. You don't get much selection with a captive agent. So I'd get a THIRD quote from an independent - see if Travelers can beat both of 'em.
