If You Have To Get SR-22 Car Insurance For Reinstatement After A Dui, How Do You Do This Without Owning A Car?

Can you get this insurance without owning a car or having a car registered in your name since your required to have it? Also how much is this going to cost someone?
Do you have to have other car insurance with this also?

Answer: autoinsurance.undonet.com - try this one. I have their car insurance and, as I know, they can provide such a service.

I Have To Have SR-22 Insurance But My Car Is Already Insured. My Dad Is The Primary And I Am The Secondary....?

Do I have to carry owners or can I carry non-owners? The car is still under loan and is insured, but in order to get my license back I have to have sr-22. I'm just wondering if because I am the secondary on the car do I really have to carry an owners policy.
my dad has alstate and they don't carry sr-22 policies.

Answer: You can have a non-owned vehicle policy and have an SR-22.

I doubt you are on your dad's policy but if you are then call his insurance agent and tell them you need an SR-22 filing.

It is not enough for you to just have insurance. The DMV requires a special filing for you called an SR-22. You have to call the agent or insurance company and ask for it.

SR-22!! Insurance What Would Be The Best Car To Have With SR-22 Insurance?

uhmm i just recently got in some trouble and i have to hace Sr-22 insurance for 2 years... and am going to be buying a car soon. any ideas on what type of car would be the best option to have with SR-22 insurance?? i really want like make, model, & year

Answer: Any paid for car, where you only need liability coverage.

As long as you aren't borrowing money for the car, and you only carry liability, that's the way to keep it cheapest.

If you need to borrow money to buy one, then you need full coverage, and your price will be through the roof - even if you pick a really cheap car, like anything at least four years old, like a Volvo station wagon, a Saturn SL, or a Dodge Caravan.

Sr-22 Insurance For My Car?

if i got a dui in 2002 and havent drove snice do i still have to have sr-22nsurance

Answer: It should be that they require it for three years from the date of the license reinstatement. Meaning that if you had you license suspended for 3 years then yes, but if not, then no. Check your court paperwork and see. Otherwise you can check with the DMV and find out if they are requiring you to have an sr-22 and what the end date is. They are the only ones that can tell you for sure.
