I hav ben a cstrmr for 10yrs In 08 I filed a stolen vehicle claim and they settled after a complete investigation. the next month I then purchase a 03 exp. which they covered along with my 1994 caddy. 8months down the road they decided that they would cancel my coverage base on the orgins surrounding the claim which they had already invesigated and settled. Now I feel like this is not fair, because it dont take eight months to determine if this 03 exp could be covered by this company. I have kept
Answer: The law only allows an insurance company to cancel a policy at certain times. When did your policy come up for renewal? Usually, a company can non-renew you at renewal time. That may be what happened.
Unless you miss a payment, most states do not allow a company to cancel your policy in the middle of the policy term.
Insurance companies are very tightly regulated by their states insurance department. I assure you, their decision to cancel your policy or to non-renew you is in accordance with your states regulations. In which case, you have no law suit.
Your time is better spent finding another company to get insurance with.

And don't tell me you paid into unemployment insurance, because you didn't, your employer was taxed for this, and the funds are running out so tax dollars must be used!
As far as Unemployment Insurance, I pay for that as a business owner to protect my employees if the business tanks and it is a "TAX" on small business. Business owners of failed businesses don't qualify for unemployment insurance payments, something "WE" pay for. Thank you for stating what I already know.
