Is There Any Organizations Or Charities That Help You Pay Your Bills/rent In The State Of Florida?
Question by chica | Posted in Community Service
Hello Everyone i need some info on organizations or charities that will help you pay your utilities and or rent. My boyfriend who lives in ( Kissimmee ) Florida has been sick for the past 4 months and they still haven't found out whats wrong with him. He does have a job but is going through a hard time because he has so many doctors appointments and has to pay a deductible at the doctors office and hospital deductibles every time he goes. So with all that money going out on medical bills he needs
Answer: I'm right with you, girl. My parents live in Florida and have been having medical problems for the past 6 months [Dad: Heart Attack, Bypass Surgery; Mom: Hep C, Diabetes], and its to the point they can't pay any of their bills. I have been helping my mom buy her prescriptions, because she can't even afford medication.
I've been looking into this lately, and I found some information on this website that helped. It is the Florida Department of Children and Families...it should help your boyfriend, especially since you mentioned he has children. Maybe Medicaid can help? I noticed they also have child care services that may help.

>>>> Yes. The letter should include authorization for you to obtain medial treatment for him if necessary and it should be notarized. Someone age 16 is a minor in the USA.

>>> Call the card issuer and ask if the card can be used in the USA. However, you would be better off opening a bank account and using a debit card with a MasterCard or Visa logo. Look

What is the minimum wage there? Can you tint your windows as dark as you want? Does your car need to get inspected yearly? What is the avg. utility bill like for a family
They Were Literally Robbed While On Vacation. What Should They Do?
Question by LC | Posted in Orlando
My friends and their family were robbed while on vacation. They rented a house in a gated community at the Windsor Palms Resort in Kissimmee, Florida. The house was literally in plain view to the security office. The robbery occurred in broad daylight.
The thieves stole cash and a laptop. All of those things can be replaced. However, the real loss was all of the pictures of their 4 month old, which were on the laptop. They were told after the robbery that there had been another robbery
Answer: The first thing they should have done is to file a police report. Probably not much can be done at this point. However, there *is* a security issue at the resort, and they need to address this issue.
This is a life lesson learned the hard way. In all my travels, never, ever have I left cash or any other valuables in my hotel room while I was not in it. It's just too much of a risk. I'm aware this was a home and not a hotel room, but still, the same concept applies. Why even take the chance? As for the pictures, I've lost too many pictures myself to computer crashes, theft, etc. It would be in your best interest to find a site to upload your pics for storage. There are some free
Your banks, credit card companies, and investment brokerages will have records of your accounts and can probably supply details of recent transactions if needed. Keep a master list of all account numbers, with a contact phone number for each. Your employer will have current payroll records, and IRA or 401(k) plan trustees will have details of your accounts. It’s smart to take the time to identify key records, make copies, and find a secure place to store them. Also keep records of expenses for remodels or other improvements that change your cost basis in the property. Keep copies documenting the purchase of your home or investment properties. You don’t need to copy every tax and financial record....
