How To Get Medical Treatment In NJ Or PA W/out Insurance?

My friend has a very bad back ache, she does not have health insurance and does not have a job currently. How can she get medical assistance for free in NJ or PA?

Answer: You can search the internet "low income clinics and your city and state".They will not be free. They are usually based on income, and at the one I work at, you have to call first thing in the morning. If they have 3 openings that day, the first 3 people that call get the appointments. You might try going to the pharmacy and ask them to help you. They will probably say ibuprofen. Ask what the maximum per day is if you take 4 (800mg) at a time. Make sure to take with food and not allergic to aspirin products.
Don't listen to tarasaan, our ER asks for picture ID and when you get to be a tax payer, you would not like to hear those kind of answers!
 
 

Are There Any Jobs That Accept 15yr Olds In PA? Primarly Around The Pittston Area?

Im 15 and i want to start saving up cash for a car, insurance, etc. I need a job but it's hard to find one with the criteria im looking for. I would want to do stock for like a supermarket or help unload the delivery trucks. Can someone please help me with this?
crap alright, but do u know of any possible jobs around Pittston PA?

Answer: I think your best bet is to get a job based on connections. I got a job at a physics lab from connections. Or wait until you're 16.

It is not illegal to work under the age of 16, my paychecks get written by a university system, I got my job at 15.

Temp Car Insurance For PA?

My husband and I are temp. living in PA for his job but will be returning to WI in July where we own our permanent home (we're just renting here). Is there some sort of temporary PA insurance I can get while I am here? I'd like to keep the registration in WI since we'll only be here for another 2-3 months. Any ideas? My WI insurance doesn't want to keep us on while we're in PA, so that's the big issue.

Answer: You should be able to keep your current policy as long as you can prove the work is temporary as well as the residence. You should check with your agent in Michigan to see if you have appropriate coverage for Pa though.You may need an umbrella policy but I think if you just leave things alone you'll be o.k.

Good Health Insurance Coverage For Northeastern PA Senior That Lost Job?

Recently lost job and need to continue health care coverage by own self until I reach 65. Anyone have any advice on this?

Answer: Cobra extends your present coverage for 18mo. best to keep it unless you simply can't afford as you do have to pay yourself.
However, all insurances are expensive - good coverage cost
$350/$400 mo.
I personally used the approved AARP insurance and then
continued it after 65.......
Check with the latest from AARP they are always on top of
things and you can get best rates with no obligation.

Pregnant In PA With No Job Or Insurance...?

I was talking to a friend and she was telling me about her friend in PA who just got pregnant. I was looking for information to help her friend. I guess PA doesnt have Medicaid, im not sure since im in VA. Is there anyone that lives in PA and knows about any goverment help during her pregnancy. I have tried looking online for information for her but im not getting much. The girl is in her early 20's and just lost her job and i guess broke up with thee babies daddy a few days ago before she even knew

Answer: well i live in pa. i know there is a program called WIC (women infants children). this program provides the mother with food for her while she is pregnant and until the child is 5 years old. She should go to the welfare office...there is a lot of help out there for pregnant women.
