Moving From Boston To Syracuse, How To Handle Car Insurance?

I have a move out planned in August. My current car insurance company isn't approved in Syracuse, NY. What are the key steps to take to transfer to a new insurance?

a) Is ALLSTATE a good insurance company?

b) How do you deal with your old plates?

c) and how to deal with the yearly auto tax that I need to pay for 2008 after I move? Can I go and tell MA RMV guys to change my address so they can reach me at NY?

It is from unitedhealthcare insurance company written on chase manahattan bank of syracuse. I live in plattsburgh,ny. I want to cash it but only have an acct. with UFirst Federal Credit Union.

Answer: you can deposit it in your credit union account.

or you can cash it at any Chase branch for a fee.

And by good I mean, accommodating. because i have no insurance, i pay all cash, and i am a full time student. someone who is understanding and not in it just for the money like these other assholes ive talked to

Answer: If you have alot of time, go to a dental school. It may take longer time for treatment, but the cost might be cheaper. If not a dental school, talk to family and friend. They will not gear you the wrong way. Don't use phone directory or those referral service. Good Luck
