Where Can I Find Cheap One Day Event Insurance As A Vendor For A Craft Fair?

I'm a vendor at an upcoming craft fair and I'm required to carry $500,000 liability insurance for the venue. Since I only do one show per year at this venue (nobody else requires insurance) is there a way I can purchase CHEAP one-two day insurance for just this event? My current annual policy is $500. I barely net that much in sales at this show, thus my dilemma.

Thanks!

Answer: Special event coverage is going to run around $500. That just barely covers the actual administration costs to issue the policy.

Just like, you can't sell your craft item for less than it costs to make, they can't sell their policies for less than it costs to physically produce and mail. Sorry. You HAVE cheap insurance already. It doesn't get cheaper than that.

Can I Drive Across Canada-US Border On A ONE DAY Insurance Permit?

I live in Vancouver BC and my car isn't currently insured but I will be needing it insured for one day to see a concert in Seattle, are you allowed to leave canada on a one day ICBC permit or do you need normal insurance?

Answer: As a general rule they do not ask for insurance when crossing the border, you only require the appropriate ID (Passport, Enhanced DL or Enhanced BCID). However you may be required to prove insurance and, as long as the insurance is valid for the length of your trip you should have no problems. You may want to look into a slightly extended permit if you can afford it in case you run into problems in the US.

One Day Insurance Coverage For A Cake Maker?

My mom is making my wedding cake, but she needs insurance. Where are the best (and most affordable) places to get one day coverage for her? (She needs $1,000,000 coverage).

Answer: Why does SHE need liability insurance to make your wedding cake?? If she's a professional, she's looking at a one shot product liability policy - likely $750. If she's an amatuer, she needs to talk to her homeowners agent, see if they'll put on an incidental business liability endorsement to her homeowners policy for $25.

One Day Insurance Cover?

I need to Insure a £300,000 Racing Car for one day which is going to be used for display purposes only, at an event we are holding. does anybody know of any companies which offer this type of insurance?

Answer: contact an good property and casualty insurance broker (take a look in the yellow pages). This is a specialized thing, but it is very possible. A recommendation really depends where you live.

One Day Insurance Company's?!?

I'm trying to find a cheap scooter insurance so I can insure my moped for one day only. I've had a quick look through google and can't seem to find any for mopeds only seems for motorcycles? any help?
I live in the UK.

Answer: Why would you need coverage for one day only? That seems ludicrous.

You can certainly find a policy to cover your moped, but don't tell them its only for one day or nobody is going to write it. Very frequently, there are minimum earned premiums and unless you can evidence that the coverage has been replaced (this doesn't even matter sometimes), you are going to owe some money.

I wish I got one day insurance for my car… | simbarulez.com

Even a one day insurance would have been sufficient to protect me. But I was not. It was only a 3 day visit and I have never been involved in a car accident during my entire life. Trying to save money, I decided not to get insurance. Needless to say, the insurance company wasn’t happy about this and I was required to pay the bill. Now, had I been insured, there would’ve been no problems. Somehow while driving up a hill - San Francisco is very hilly - I lost control of my vehicle and hit a tree. A while ago I went to visit San Francisco.
