We need coverage and want to be able to pay our bill online. Can you name any companies that will cover mobile homes and allow online payments/management?
I know of Allstate, State Farm, Nationwide...Progressive doesn't.
Answer: Ah, Progressive was who I was going to say.
The big mobile home writers are Progressive, Foremost, and American Modern. And American Modern and Foremost won't let you manage policies online.

does anyone know what insurance company sell insurance to people who live in mobile homes. i'm trying to rent a few out and i want to make sure my tenants are covered just in case something bad happens like Katrina since they are so fraigle. Thanks for your help.

Older Model Mobile Homes Insurance? |

My sister & husband are buying a 1975 Moblie Home in New York State and need Insurance on it, All the insurance companies they looked at said it is too old. My question is where can they get insurance for a older type moblie home ?
Answer: Check with an independent agent. They have access to many insurance companies and should be able to find something for them.
Check Foremost Insurance. They can write an older mobile home for the value of the mobilehome excluding the land. They do write in NY. You will be able to find an agent on their website

How Much Is Mobile Home Insurance In South Florida? |

Looking to buy a vacation home in West Palm Beach. Does anyone out there who actually lives in a mobile home in South Florida tell me how much to expect? The park is on the Intercoastal, I was going to buy for cash but now the douche bag owner raised the price so now I am going to look else where and may have to finance some of the purchase price and I am assuming that I will have to insure it. I am expecting the worse. Please only answer if you really know a number.
Answer: Look, there's only ONE company writing mobile home insurance in Florida, and that's Citizens. It's EXTREMELY expensive, but not having any idea how old your home is, or how much you think you need to insure it for, it's impossible for anyone to give you a quote.
You can go to Citizens, directly, and get a quote from them, and buy it from a local agent. I don't know of ANYONE besides them, writing mobile home coverage, PERIOD. Oh, btw, they're the STATE OWNED insurer of last resort, in FL.

How Much For Mobile Home Insurance In California.? |

I'm looking into buying a mobile home in California. I was wondering how much the average annual premium would be. The value of the home will be around 40-70k, the coverage isn't all that important for this is only temporary, but I would like a little bit over the basic. I know it is hard to give an estimate off of the top of your head but anything helps. Thanks!
Answer: It probly would not be that much. It depends on what area your looking to live in. And, is the mobile home in an approved mobile home park, approved by the insurance company?
Call and get some quotes. Try Farmers, State Farm, Auto Club and Allstate. Just shop around. Start with the company that carries your auto insurance to get the most discounts. |
