What Insurance Company Offers Insurance For My Golf Clubs While Traveling?

I will be traveling to South America with my golf clubs and I am afraid that the airliner's employees may mishandle them or even steel them so I was wondering if anybody knows from an Insurance Company that would provide some kind of policy for my clubs.
Thanks!

Answer: lloyds of london, can you afford that..?

Is This Insurance Too Cheap To Be True?

I have done a travel insurance search on www.moneysupermarket.com and 3 of the results have come back at under £11 for single trip cover for a couple travelling to Turkey for 1 week (13th Aug to 22nd Aug). The companies are Primary Insurance, Club Direct and Columbus Direct. Has anyone had insurance from any of these companies and had good/bad experiences? I have had a look at the cover provided and it looks fairly standard.

Answer: I would: (NB the trip is 10 days not a week!)

a) watch out for the excess under the policy - it is probably quite high and will probably apply per section of policy per person.

b) Check to see if cover against terrorism is provided for medical expenses.

c) Look at inner policy limits and requirements to report incidents.

d) Make sure that pre-existing medical conditions (if you have any) are covered.

e) Check that there is a 24-hour medical help line.

f) Look at a higher priced policy - It is easy to see what is in a travel policy it is far harder to see what isn't in the policy but which other policies

Where Can I Get Model Airplane Club Insurance? What To Look For?

Where what to search for? We dont want to use AMA.
The ama charges 60 a year. I heard of a club that got it cheaper.
60 a year per person.

Answer: Well, you LOOK for an independent agent, who can find a company willing to take you. You're not going to have a whole lot of choices, and it's going to be rather more expensive than if you went through AMA.

If I Offer A 'get You Home Safe' Service To I.e A Football Club, Is That Insurance?

A ‘prepaid - get you home - service’ for football players who become
somewhat affected by alcohol on a night out. The idea is that the clubs pay a yearly premium based upon the number of players & the service involves getting the player home safe and a guarantee that the players will get home without driving themselves. is this offering the clubs an insurance contract? and in legal terms, is this a matter or insurance?

Answer: You're not offering insurance, you're offering personal protection or bodyguard service, depending on the state you're located in. Either way, be ready to have to be licensed by the state to do that, and carry a million dollar bond and a VERY expensive liability policy for your company in order to meet the state requirements for the license. There are only 4 companies that insure private investigators and security companies, the average policy (if they'll even cover you) is $5000 a year.
