What Is The Best Pet Insurance For Cats/kittnes?

I have a 4 month old kitten. I went to this fair and was introduced to VPI pet insurance but just read that it was no good. Can someone please tell me a good pet insurance place and please only answer if you have personal experience. Also tell me all I need to know about this whole pet insurance thing. I'm new to this. Thanks. I only want the best for my baby!
How rude you are, I didn't even know they would do that until I read this plan. I need something to help me when I go to the Vet because

Answer: Hi I'mHers,

First, disclaimer: I work for Embrace Pet Insurance in Cleveland, Ohio.

I'm glad you're asking questions about pet insurance for your kitten. There is so much information floating around about it and not all of it is correct.

What makes a good pet health insurance policy? My opinion is straightforward: insurance is a promise to reimburse you so one of the main elements of a good policy is full and open disclosure of *everything* that is and is not covered. If you look just at price you are not getting the whole picture.

I encourage you to look at major medical pet insurance (yes, it exists, our company offers it). The idea

Is There Any Best Pet Insurance For Cats? I Am Considering The Adoption Of A 6 Week Kitten And A 2 Year Cat.?

Is there any best pet insurance for cats? I am considering the adoption of a 6 week kitten and a 2 year cat.

Answer: Insurance is available for cats, and I think it's a great idea if you're considering younger cats. Since they have many years ahead of them, that leaves bigger possibility of some accident happening in their life that would lead to an expensive bill.

There are lots of great companies out there, I would suggest to start with petinsurancereview.com as it's a third party site with ratings from actual customers for each company.

I would highly suggest skipping on the "routine care" coverage for check-ups and shots as paying through the middle-man insurance company just costs more than paying directly to the vet for this type of care. The insurance companies

Do You Have To Have Insurance For Cats?

I want to get on at petco! [=
But do I have to have insurance.
I don't have much money because my parents are paying for the cat and I'm buying the rest of the stuff.

Plus, what are some tips?

Answer: No you don't need insurance but if you don't have much money what happens if a big vets bill has to be paid? just reading through these pages most days you see so many questions where the asker says their pet is ill but they can't afford a vet-if you have insurance you don't have to worry about the cost and your cat can get the best treatment available. I would try a price comparison site and get a few quotes to find one you can afford-with the ever rising price of vets fees I wouldn't be without it. maybe your parents would be willing to pay some towards it if they see how you are thinking ahead and being responsible-it's worth a try anyway!

Is Insurance For Cats The Best Thing?

Is insurance expensive and is it really better than not having insurance?

Answer: Pet insurance is good for unexpected accidents and illnesses. They can get expensive quickly, so it's nice to have insurance to cover the costs. Pet insurance does not cover pre-existing conditions, so if your pet is already sick or injured, it is unlikely that pet insurance will cover the costs to treat it.

For other costs like regular exams and vaccines, it's best to self-budget since these costs are expected. Some pet insurance companies offer coverage, but it is typically not cost-effective. (Imagine paying an extra $200 per year on your premiums for $200 worth of routine coverage...)

A few good questions to ask when researching pet insurance are:

Pet insurance for indoor cats? | All about Insurance - Auto ...

Pet insurance is fairly new so give it time to change and adjust. After that happened a few times, we chose to make him an indoor cat and he adjusted just fine. As far as I know, in the UK there is no pet insurance that covers any illness past 12 months. Well, good luck with finding pet insurance.
