How To Open A Massage/spa In Edmonton, AB? |

I am currently in school for massage therapy and saw a spa/salon for sale in Edmonton. I was wondering if anyone knows the costs of opening a spa/salon in Edmonton - it would have massage and possibly hair stylists and other spa services...does anyone have a setup like this and know the costs (licensing, insurance, day-to-day costs, etc) ? Also, any tips?

I wil be moving to Edmonton, AB as a post-doc in University of Alberta, what is the cost of living in edmonton, I have a wife and a child, where is a good place to rent an apartment, what about car insurance, food expense and so on any information will be helpful
I live in South Dakota and I lived in Montral 5 years ago.
Answer: well good at least you are acclimatized already having been in south dakota. Edmonton has similar weather but perhaps a little more deeper edge on winter on really cold nites can go do -50C. I was there last week from vancouver and stepped off plane at -40C!
In many parking lots you will see electrical outlets on posts in the parking lots. Those are to plug your block heater in on those cold cold nites. No fooling it can get cold. Spring, Summer is nice . The river valley park is great and Jasper is a few hours away but worth the drive for camping/sking.
Edmonton is a nice mid-sized city (about 1 million +)_and sure you will like experience at UofA. For $1000 a month |

So Some Questions About Champix...? |

So my fiance is trying to stop smoking (yay!) and previous attempts using various methods (cold turkey, gum and patches) have all failed so he went to his doctor and got champix prescribed to him.
So my questions are:
For those who have used it, how well did it work?
How much does it cost (in Edmonton AB). We are covered through my insurance doe cessation aids, 80% up to $500.
For those who used it, what side affects did you experience?
Answer: CHANTIX is the name of the medication. In the US, it is around $100-120 a month. My bf used it and has been smoke free for almost 2 years. His side effects were some stomach upset, which got better if he took it with food and very vivid dreams, but I think that is from nicotine withdrawl, not the chantix.
