An opponent of national health care in America said that the brilliant scientist Stephen Hawking would not be alive if he had had to rely on national health care. Yet Hawking has relied on British national health care all his life. He credits it with high standards and keeping him alive. Don't you think American insurance companies would have dropped him and let him die if Hawking's case had been theirs? And what lesson can we apply from his experience to the question of national health care

Answer: American companies would let him die . The British health care system kept him alive . They didn't care about pre existing conditions .They just gave him the care he needed without regard to who he is .

Why Is An America Where Everyone Has Health Insurance A Bad Thing?

These are all facts, so i'm asking for serious debate not knee jerk partisan reactions. I've taken the time to ask a serious question, the least you can do is take the time to answer it in the same fashion.

Second of all, everyone having insurance coverage is bad if you have listened to the lies and half truths of the right.

But then the right tend to ignore facts like the ones below.

FACT - Insurance companies in the USA admit to pushing up prices, buying politicians and not paying out claims when they should [a]
FACT - PER PERSON the USA spends more on healthcare than any other nation on the planet [b]
FACT - Obama debated his plans before the election for healthcare [c]
FACT - the chance of a child under five of dying in the USA is greater than industrialised nations with universal health coverage

Why Don't Americans Deserve National Health Care?

I've noticed that when it comes to material possessions and the luxuries that Americans get to enjoy each day that no other country can compare but I've also noticed that when it comes to the cost of health care & things like college America isn't that great. If you get sick you're swamped in debt our insurance companies are money hungry and have no real interest in the health of the people they buy off politicians to support their causes & brainwash people. I've noticed in other countries

I re-posted this because I've gotten really great answers but all conflicting each other. If you know what all this means please help!

I'm trying to find out if my condo owner is going to foreclose on the property I live in. I received a letter at my address made out to the landlord from a company called Nevada foreclosure consultants. I pulled the county record, but I don't understand it. Does someone out there with a little law experience know what all this means? Should I start
