I want to get an idea of the cost so that I can factor it into my business model. Any vague ideas would help.

How Much Does Car Insurance And Public Liability Insurance Normally Cost?

How much does car insurance (a mini van, like the type that window cleaning company uses) and public liability insurance normally cost?
Can anyone just provide a rough figure? Just a rough figure is okay, coz it just used for my assignment about starting a business of domestic services. The lowest price is also okay!

Answer: Insurance for the van with depend on make, model, age etc so try a comparison site.

Public liability insurance is harder to guess as it depends on your turnover as well as what you do but I have £3million cover and pay about £400 per year as an H&S consultant.

Answer: For a one off about £30. Phone a broker. The only liability you would have is if your stall collapsed on someones foot. It's mostly the food and beauty trade that really need it.
