How Many Independent Medical Evaluations In A Given Year?
Question by theknisher | Posted in Insurance
I am trying to find out how many Independent Medical Evaluations are conducted for insurance defense (workers comp, general liability, disability, and auto) in Pennsylvania in a given year. Any idea how I can find this number out? I'm wondering if I should call the workers comp board or various insurance companies, I'm not sure.
Thanks in advance!
Answer: I doubt that any state board tracks this information. Seems to me you would probably have to contact each insurance company and odds are they are not going to share their data with you.
Can Any Insurance Professionals Decipher What This Means In Its Simplest Form?
Question by Sannin | Posted in Insurance
All-risk or special form property damage insurance, naming PCA and the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania as additional insureds and loss payees, insuring as they may appear the
interests of Provider, PCA and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in all personal property,
fixtures and improvements to real estate funded or supplied by PCA, whether titled to

Answer: It's a pretty big question.
It means you, are providing both liability, and property coverage, for PCA and the state of PA. It means, any claims you have, will make them payable on the checks, and if THEY get sued for something, YOUR liability will cover THEM, and count against YOU, for future claims, and eat away at YOUR aggragate limit.
Property coverage would have to be written on an AGREED value basis. Pricey.
The notice language and 'endeavor to' provisions are perfectly clear, and illustrated in the sample certificate you had me look at earlier.
But. AFter that it says, if for any reason you can't get that coverage, PCA
HELP! I Need An Estimate On Getting A Tooth Pulled Or Build Up And Crown (NO INSURANCE)?
Question by Stefanie | Posted in Dental
I had a root canal done on one of my molars about 5 years ago and since I couldn't afford to get a crown done, I've had a temporary filling in it ever since. A little less than a week ago, a somewhat big piece of my tooth broke off. I know I need either a build up and crown (which I'm hoping for) or I need it pulled if the tooth can't be saved. I do not have insurance right now. I was in Pennsylvania when this happened, and the dentist offices were quoting me around $700 to have it pulled and around
Answer: I paid around $300 for my extraction because of this great plan I have. www.healthsavings.ourperfectcard.com I signed up online over 5 years ago now and they have saved me thousands of dollars since then. From Root canals, crowns, xrays, exams,cleanings..etc. All services are included in this very affordable plan. They even had my benefits active in 2 hours and was able to use it the very same day. Hope this helps out some.

Question by DFC | Posted in Law & Ethics
Hi guys. Today was a very unfortunate day for me. I received my first speeding ticket in my life, and I was really upset. Let me fill you in on what happened:
I am a college student, and I have a co-op where i work 8-4 everyday. I commute about an hour and 30 minutes EACH way to and from work. So what happened when I got pulled over today was that I was on a stretch of road where the speed limit is 55mph. I was approaching my exit (please keep in mind that the traffic was going approximately
Answer: Definitely go to court and ask to have the ticket reduced. Obviously wear nice clothes (a suit if you have one) and be very respectful. You have a clean record so there's a good chance the fine and points will be reduced for you.
