How Much Is Motorcycle Insurance In Ontario?

I am a 17 year old male living in downtown Toronto Ontario. I am buying either a used Honda CBR 125 cc or a used Kawasaki Ninja 250r. Please tell me the estimate of what my insurance would cost with a completed motorcycle training course.
Oh and I would also like to know approximately how many months I'm going to be riding throughout the year sunny days only.

Answer: $2,000 a year... or 2 million... you'll only get a real quote by asking an insurance broker or an insurance company.

I started riding an 18 and wrote a guide to help people in Ontario get started. It's available here:
http://www.youmotorcycle.com/how-to-buy- your-first-motorcycle.html

You should really check out all parts of it, but you'll see Step 1 starts like you did, with checking insurance ("Can I afford it?"). The insurance page will also outline what companies are best for you (there's a tree graph, follow along based on age, experience, what bike, etc.) and you'll see. We've also got a PDF with full contact info for companies available to you.

Where Can I Get Good Motorcycle Insurance In Ontario, Canada?

I am getting a 2007 Honda CBR 125 and I need to get a good insurance quote.

Answer: I have mine through Primmum, I called then directly for a quote. Lots of companies do this so you can compare. Keep track of the coverage details you are quoted so you are comparing the same coverage from place to place and ask "how can I reduce that rate" and "can you reduce that for me as a best rate you can offer as I am comparing with others". Never tell them your other quotes, but also do not lie about anything, often quotes are recorded. Sometimes the answer about reduction may involve bringing a car or house insurance to them (worth about 10% at some places) but always compare costs between companies.

Things that can help with your rate: small engined

It will depend a lot on the displacement of that Ninja and where in Ontario you live but I’ll tell you now that it will be E-X-P-E-N-S-I-V-E, if any of the insurance companies even take you on that is. If you attend a riding school, most... i think a broker is best to quote you, because out here in saskatchewan it’s way different, most cases about 1/2 of what it is in neighboring alberta… and for someone your age in alberta, it would be near $3000.
