Is Allstate Roadside Assistance Insurance The Same As The Allstate Motor Club?

Similar or not at all ?

That is, the one that is added on to insurance. I know the price is less. $5.80 every 6 months versus $48-52 per year.

Thanks

PS seems like the rep said I got up to 50 miles towing which is more than their $48 a year plan which just covers you up to $50.
Yeah, no way was I going to pay extra for the other stuff, Just didnt know if it was included.

Best I can tell is I get better coverage for less but with no

Answer: One is strictly for roadside assistance/towing after a breakdown (the $5.80/6 months) the other has some other services. trip route, etc. (take the $5.80/6 month option)

Working As An Independant Insurance Agent?

I am 44 years old with 25 years of sales experience...currently manage a used car dealership. I would like to spend more time with my sons and am considering a career change. I know that insurance agents make commissions on sales, and earn monthly residuals thereafter. Can anyone direct me towards a company that offers a "real" opportunity to an experienced salesperson. I do not have my license, but have checked out some online "pre-licensing" sights....and it doesn't seem to

Answer: OK. If you want a real answer, shoot me an email:

roland_reardon@yahoo.com

I own an independent agency in the Atlanta area (check out my answers to some other questions, if you like).

I started it from the get-go: cold.

In December it will be 10 years old.

I have been in the business 14 years total.

Always as an agent (producer) always property and casualty, always independent agency system.

I'm not trying to flim-flam you by getting you to send me an email.

I could write about this for days on here.

The best way to do it would be for me to explain some stuff,

Best Coverage For Traveling Out West In An OLD Motorhome?

I was looking into getting the following:
*Geico-state minimum (incl. under insured uninsured motorists)
*Good Same Platinum Roadside assistance
*Allstate Motor Club - Platinum Elite.

Im not good with insurance and stuff like that. I just know that full coverage still wont cover the price of my rv because it is over 30 years old. Is there a better plan?

Answer: What do you need to cover? In the off chance the RV is totaled, do you really want an equivalent replacement?

If it were me, I'd just get middle-of-the-span liability coverage 100K/300K/100K, and skip the damage insurance. Dents add character.

As for road side assistance, that depends on how likely the thing is to quit and one's willingness to be inconvenienced vs. expense. If towing a car or carrying a motorcycle, don't bother with the assistance. If the hulk comes to a halt, just ride off in search of a mechanic and persuade/cajole/bribe them to come to the stalled site. Since a breakdown is actually pretty unlikely, you get to save the cost of the service.
