What Is The Fine For Driving Without Insurance At Southern California District Court?

How much is the fine for driving without insurance in the jurisdiction of the federal court in San Diego. For example if you get caught driving with no insurance in Marine Base and order to appear in court downtown, is there any fixed fine for that violation which will close the case and avoid court, or you must appear in court and the judge will decide how to punish you?

Answer: I don't know about the Feds but under California law a few years ago the fine was $1,350.00.

20 And A Marine But Auto Insurance Companie's Want To Charge Me 500$ A Month??? HELP?

I just got my license a couple months back i am in the marines and joined when i was 17 and in california it cost 350$ to get your license before you are 18 and i could not afford it. i am a very busy guy and it took time before i could get it. i make 600 every 2 weeks and i am about to get a car i am stationed at camp lejeune NC. for the auto loan i will be paying about 350 to 400 a month. its not that bad i am paying 5 % interest on the loan for 11,500 not that bad for not having any credit.

Answer: I have some bad news for you. 1 youre a dude. 2 youre really young. 3 you dont have previous insurance. 4 you dont make a lot of money. PLEASE PLEASE take some advice from a 35 yr old guy who has made some mistakes-do NOT buy an expensive car. I know youre young and you want to show off..but really any decent girl wont care what kind of car you drive as long as its not a rustbucket and its a safe, practical car. Those payments are WAYYY too much for how much $$ you make, get a $5000 car, preferably a Honda or Toyota..the insurance will be cheaper (try progressive online, make sure you pay 6 months in full to get a 10% paid in full discount)...beleive me you do NOT want to weigh yourself down

What Are My Chances Of Getting Unemployment In California?

I am married to a marine and I've had the same job for the past 4 and half years. My husband is now stationed elsewhere in California and I had to quit my job because of this. We've been out here for a couple of months and I have not been able to find a job. What do you think my chances are of receiving unemployment insurance??

Answer: <Eligible check>
Although specific eligibility requirements vary from state to state, most states have the same basic standards for collecting unemployment benefits. They include:

-You must be unemployed or working less than full time
-You must meet certain income requirements
-You must be ready, willing, and able to work
-You must have involuntarily left your job

In general, you won't be eligible for benefits if:

-You quit your job simply because you didn't like it
-You're fired for committing a crime (e.g., stealing)
-You've never worked before

Marine Wife Military Benefits & Life?

Hello everyone,

I'm getting married on the 21st of this month (in about two weeks) to a Marine, and I know NOTHING of what to expect. I have tried visiting the Marine Corps websites, as well as forums of military families to learn a little more, but have been really unsuccessful in obtaining any solid information... So, I'm turning to the Yahoo community!

Basically, I would just like any input as to what I can look forward to in the near future in terms of on-base life,

Answer: u will only get BAH if you dont have on post housing.if you live on post they deduct the BAH out of his pay.. you get nothing more for having any children..everything is based on if he has dependents or not.. 1 or 10 doesnt matter how many..BAS is an allowance for food for the SM only its not meant to cover cost of food for the household.. you will get medical for free and dental is a sm fee everymonth and you have to sign up for it seperatly, they will not pay for your move because he is already there and you are an aquired dependent.. but if he gets orders to go somewhere else PCS. .they will pay for it then, you will get an ID that will give you access to the commissary and such.

My Son Is In The Marines; He Left His Car With Me In IL; Bought Car In CA; Car Needs To Be Registered Where?

My son bought his car in California yet he has left the car in Illinois with me. I don't have my license yet and now the car needs to be registered by November 2007. CA DMV sent me the registration forms. Not sure if the car needs to be registered in California or Illinois. My son pays the car note and insurance automatically from his Marine pay. Does it matter where the car is registered as long as it is registered?
My son is going to be in Japan for two years and I received his registration

Answer: He should handle it, why is it your problem? the car should be registered wherever he has his official residence. The easiest thing for now would be to renew the california registration. If it is driven in illinois with california tags, the police may wonder why it out of state and give you a ticket.
