I know I need an ID and all, but what do I need as far as insurance goes. Does my name have to be on the insurance, or can I use some else's car (which is insured in their name) and drive on base without that person in the car? Does my name have to be on the policy of the car I am driving? Or does the car just have to be insured in general?
| Answer: You will need, a picture ID Car registration Proof of insurance IE: just telling them, the guy who owns the car has insurance, will not work. If you do not have an insurance card, then you may have to show them, the insurance policy of the owner of the car, to prove that other drivers are insured. |

| Answer: I also obtained my INS and AIC (Associate in Claims) years ago. I had previously worked for a big insurance company that was very proactive on taking insurance classes, to the degree that they stated was the only way to move up. While taking these classes, I was also going to school at night while working full time for them to get my para legal degree. The CPCU is very intense and can be difficult to pass. Since your current objective would be to go into underwriting, it would make more sense to go after the AU 1st since only 2 classes and will help you understand your job more effectively. Then after that, go for the CPCU. Also if you were to change jobs |
