Does Anyone Know Which Company Offers Cheap Flood Insurance In Massachusetts?

And is it true that flood insurance companies all offer the same rate? I tried searching for this information on google, but nothing really helps. If anyone knows, I really appreciate your answer. Thanks.

Answer: Flood rates are set by FEMA - so there's no "cheaper" unless you talk about different coverages.

I live on the Gulf Coast but far enough away from the water that I don't need flood insurance. I live in the cheap section with order ordinary working people.

But on the beach, the opulent condos owned by the Elite receive subsidies from FEMA to help them afford insurance.

I'm tired to working and paying taxes so some rich jerk can live on the beach at my expense.

Cheapest And Best Flood Insurance?

I live in Az and was told my townhome was is in a flood zone and I need flood insurance. How much does this cost and wheres the cheapest place to get it. Another guy in the unit next to me said his mortgage company forced the insurance on his loan and it was 2,500 a year so his mortgage went up 300 a month!! thats seems like an insane amount? Please help.

Answer: If you have a mortgage, the bank may require flood insurance. If you don't have a mortgage, the decision on flood insurance is up to you. But if you choose not to get it, your homeowner's policy won't cover floods.

The amount of the premium will depend on the value of your property and the risk of floods in your area. There are also policies for building only, contents only and building + contents. Here's a link to a website that might be helpful.
